MBTI Relatable Pick-Up Lines: The Extroverts

Well, it’s been a month of slumber, more or less. I am back with MBTI stuffs for awhile before another fiction comes up.

You might have ever wondered what type someone belongs to based on what he or she says or writes. Here are pick-up lines that might be related to particular MBTIs.

ENFP: I was thinking of black marshmallows that will turn into rainbow when I roast it. Sorry, what did you say? LOOK! AN AFRO GUY WITH HIS AFRO DOG!

They just unconsciously and continuously distracted either by what surrounds them, or even by their own thoughts. If you are afraid of sudden changes of topics during conversation or random urges during a trip, you’d better off.

ENTP: I didn’t argue. I explained my point of view and my ideas about changing the world.

Guys, we don’t mean to be offensive or sounds like an asshole when talking. We don’t argue. It is just the way we explain our overwhelmed ideas. More, pardon the jumpy changes of topics as well.

Sincerely,

An ENTP

ESTP: What? Sky Diving? Challenge Accepted!

They risk their lives for challenges because they crave for it and they literally enjoy the adrenaline rush. So, if you find someone rides all extreme rides without exception in a theme park over and over, maybe that person is an ESTP.

ESFP: We gotta make this project fun no matter how.

To make everything entertaining and fun is priority no matter how serious the situation is. Having them around will surely cheers up everyone except INTJ and ISTJ in serious mode.

ESFJ: Your door was open and what’s inside was a mess so I cleaned it up for you.

  1. That’s not actually a mess. That’s probably how that person arranges his or her stuffs.
  2. They will argue and say that you are not being thankful for saying point number 1. Sigh ESFJ.
  3. You will say thanks after all, so don’t think of saying point number 1. Keep it for yourself to avoid number 2.

P.S. : Mom’s knows best.

ENFJ: It is such a pleasure to help. Don’t mention, really.

They will always try to find a way in helping others and fight for everyone’s justice. They literally find happiness in helping others and seeing others happiness like ESFJ does. The difference perhaps they seldom force their methods on helping others. I present you the heroic protagonist, ENFJ.

ESTJ: This isn’t right. You know it should follow this given steps like it has been written on the manual!

These guys are some of the most obedient types among the 16. The combination of their dominant extroverted thinking and introverted sensing makes them natural rule enforcer and manual books followers. They won’t say a thing if they don’t have enough factual info about an issue.

ENTJ: I am the rules. Enough said.

Either you do it their way, or you go away. Enough said.

The introverts will follows on the next post.

ENxP: With a Little Help From Inferiority

None of ENTPs or ENFPs are well structured and highly organized. If they are, there must be something misplaced in their head and it won’t last for long. When I wrote ‘there must be something misplaced…’, I didn’t try to throw something figurative. In fact, it is their Si climbs up to the top of the stack, helping the Ne or even more surprising, replacing it temporarily.

As I said, it is not permanent that the Si dominates or at least gets along well with the dominant function. Thus, it is impossible for both ENTP and ENFP to use their introverted sensing (Si) as good and as far as ISFJ, ISTJ or ESFJ. We, ENxPs, might feel a sudden urge of organized pattern of life, or disturbing insecurity of being so random and unplanned but we will get back to thoughtful yet lazy-random beings not so long after we encounter something intriguing, forgetting the chance of being more organized. Shortly, it needs a very intense struggle to be organized and well-scheduled for ENxP.

Then what’s that Si for if we cannot utilize it as good as the master of introverted sensing a.k.a. The ISFJ and ISTJ?

Our Si is inferior. If I may use the analogy of weapon mastery, the Si is a shield and as I have mentioned in another post related to MBTI in MMORPG, none of ENTP or ENFP are natural shield wielders. ENTPs are Rogue assassin while ENFPs are hunters and huntress. They are elusively agile and having huge shield with them will just halt their mobility. Their shield meant to be something handy and thus, having their main weapon as one of the parrying tools will be more effective than having a tower shield. Before getting to far with my geeky video game analogy, let’s just say that the Si of ENxPs is just their ability to block and not necessarily their skill to utilize shield. ISFJ and ISTJ may utilize their Si as deadly weapon while for ENTP and ENFP, it is just a defense mechanism that they cannot rely on solely. Combining the extroverted intuition (Ne) of ENxP with their Si is the best way to utilize the inferior function. Here are some examples if you are ENTP or ENFP:

  1. You may not good at organizing stuff or doing practical housework things, but making it interesting by thinking of those works as daily different challenges that you must accomplish will make it more interesting. Set different target everyday.
  2. Your Ne allows you to grasp and expand the idea that you obtain from the outer world while you can utilize your Si to limit it and gain some helpful experience from it.
  3. Another perk of combining the dominant Ne and inferior Si is to learn from the experience of other people. A bad experience of someone that was told to you will build a mentality within you that you won’t fall into the same pit as he did.

See? It does not mean the inferior Si is useless. you can always use your weakness to support your strength. Anyway, there is nothing wrong for being so random. We are highly thoughtful, and more than that, natural brainstormers, though.

P.S.: Still no added-pictures on this post.

Conundrum: The ENTP’s Point of View

via Conundrum — The Daily Post

choice.jpg

Familiar with that term? Or did you just checked your dictionary for definitions?

If any of you look for the meaning in the dictionary, conundrum [kuhnuhn-druh m] means anything that puzzles or riddle. Therefore, if the word is taken literally, it will lead to wordplay, pun, riddle or anything that triggers us to think about answering or fixing the flouted rules. An instance of famous conundrum is the Sphinx riddle.

What is the creature that walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and three legs in the evening?

Which was answered by Oedipus during his journey. Legend said that ever since the riddle was solved by Oedipus, Sphinx met his death and stop devouring the explorers who passed by.

Though it literal meaning has a very close definition to riddle, conundrum has another definition as a moral dilemma or difficult situation that people might face in their life. These kinds of conundrum are known as moral and practical conundrum. The two types include the absence of deciding whether something is right or wrong and the difficulties in choosing which one is better than another respectively. This post, will deliver some possible moral and practical conundrums that you might have or might not have ever thought before with some opinions from an ENTP.

The Robin’Hood

Everyone must be familiar with the tale of a guy who robs from the rich and then spreads the loots to the poor people. Imagine if this Robin’Hood guy was one of your friends and you figured out what he always did. What would your action be? Turn him or her to the authorities? Let him or her be for the treasures are distributed to the unfortunate ones? You might argue for this but I have my point of view.

Stealing, robbing or anything similar are obviously breaking the law. However in this case, the robber does not enjoy the loot he’s obtained but instead, he gives it to the ones who need it. I will say that I will let him be for awhile, warn him later and then if he refuses to stop, I will wait for the time to take a serious action once he starts to go completely evil. You have to keep in mind that most people who do heroic action by breaking the law may die as a hero or live long enough to turn into a bad guy

World War

It will be cruel to say thanks to everyone who participated in world war one and two but wait a minute, I said that as a person who lives in 21st century. Imagine living in the years of 1920s to 1940s, you would curse a lot and feel the insecurity in every minute of your life. Surely I would either if I imagine how horrible living next to battle field, preparing to evacuate to the nearest bunker or isolated mountain. That’s how it was back then, but how about now? Think as a person from this generation. Did we learn something from it? Yes we do. Did lots of us get something from it? Yes we DO. Now you want to revise my grammar for answering past questions in present form. No you can’t, because what we got and what we learned back then, are eternal. Some countries seized their independence, some others learned that war is a waste and peace should be maintained, making them more powerful and advanced than before. Without mentioning those countries, I would like to salute the people from the past and be grateful as the person from the present.

Death Sentence

You reap what you sow. The proverb is surely relevant to this controversial punishment. It should be noticed that death sentence is only enacted to they who commit serious crimes such as assassination, mass murder, massive illegal drugs distribution, and so forth.the impact of death sentence is very influential not only to the suspect who will obviously lose his life but also to the public for it might spread the fear of doing such criminal actions that may lead him to horrifying punishment. Some people find death sentence is unfair since it gives no chance for the suspect to amend his mistake in the past, turning him from a suspect into another victim while some others see the punishment is just and acceptable.  However, again, what if a close friend of yours has committed an assassination that made him sentenced to death. Would you defend your dearest one or stand by the justice?

Though many people think such kind of punishment is barbaric and ruthless, I would say that death sentence, to whom in may be applied, is fair enough since the punishment is only imposed to serious and worrisome criminals who commit particularly serious crime. The authority will not have any right to impose death sentence on a robber who snatch money from the cashier machine in Seven Eleven. Thus, as long as it is on track and not rashly implemented, death sentence is fine.

The Titanic

We all know what happened at the end of the movie. Jack Dawson died sacrificing himself to let Rose survived. Cheesy, you may have said, but for some people, they prefer to die rather than seeing their loved one dies. How about you? Have you ever imagine that Jack is you, and Rose is your lover. You guys are on a very amusing trip when suddenly a fatal accident occur. Giving you two options: You live but you have to let your lover dies, or vice versa, you die and the loved one lives. Will you save him or her by giving up your own life or leave her?

My view about lovers and death is quite different. I would like to have a question regarding to this: Imagine you are in a very settle and happy relationship. You get married and live even happier. Now the question is: would you die first leaving your lover in a very depressing lonesome and lost or you would let him or her dies before you so they do not need to feel the loneliness and the pain of losing loved one?

You may think that I am rude, but I won’t let the person that I share affection with and I care about to feel the fear of losing and lonely. It is okay  for me if she dies leaving me behind.

You may have different opinions about those stuffs I shared. Cheers.

Pleasing ENTPs 101

Some weeks ago I described how to trigger the feeling of ENTPs and at some points how to make them upset. Now I am thinking. I am an ENTP and why in the world did I post a guide to make me upset? Like I will come to a group of people and with a strange smile asking them to ruin my mood? Thus, I am going to share how to please ENTPs easily. This is still related to how our feeling works.

Compliments

6967641276_1297c426a0_b.jpg

We are, indeed, narcissistic. Thus, giving honest compliment will make our day. However, our responses are unusual. ENTPs will not directly accept the compliment by saying thanks or making any counter-compliment. Instead, we often sarcastically self-deprecate ourselves but deep inside we loudly shout: HELL YEAAAAAH I AM AWESOME. Here is an example of ENTP gets a compliment.

One day in a football game

INFJ: Hey, you did well, man. That was amazing goal.

ENTP: Nah, I saw a 5 year-old kid did better yesterday.

Implicature: I KNOW RIGHT, can you say that again?

Ideas

idea.png

This part related to how people should deal with ENTPs who are in trouble. The subtitle above includes: solutions, advises and opinions. ENTPs tend to come with tons of ideas which are mostly produced by the district in their brain called The Fictional Problem where most of the citizens are over-thinkers. However, though we are introvert thinkers, we gladly listen to any brilliant points of view and reasonable feedback from others. We appreciate any good ideas and solution through our problem more than we do to emotional supports. Therefore, instead of saying wise words or motivational speech, we would be happier if you come up with ‘what if…’ or any other ways that convey your ideas, solutions, and any doable plan.

Coffee (or anything with alcohol if they drink. Vodka, Champagne, whatever)

coffee-n-a-hug-in-a-cup

In my case it’s coffee, black coffee. For Tony Stark, probably, vodka or any expensive champagne. However, it is serious! I mean, coffee is not a drink. It is a hug. If you have ENTP friends and they come with long face, say the magic words: ‘Do you want it black, with sugar, or creamer?’ (for coffee drinker) or say nothing but throw a can of cold beer to them (for the one who drinks alcohol). As simple as that.

Deep Conversations

cdyvlyoueaar4ic

If any of you still think that ENTPs are reserved and quiet, then there is only one possibility: You are not ready for deep conversation and ENTPs know who to talk with. Exploring unrealistic ideas and thousand possibilities of the existence of aliens or wormhole that leads to the past are some of many favorite topics that we like to discuss. Should it ended in debate-sparing session, ENTPs will be happier. Losing it will make them respect their discussion partner, and winning the debate will pleased those ENTPs for sure. However, not all people can stand discussing such things for hours. So, are you ready to talk about bullshits and parallel universe?

Those are How To Please ENTP 101. Effortless aren’t they?

ENTP in Video Games: We Don’t Heal, We Destroy Things and Kill People

It has been around four months for me struggling in this country. Soon I will face my first semester exam which means I am a quarter way done (sighing deeply). Anyway, I suddenly got hit by the fact that I have not played any video game for about four months and it brought good-old-days-memory storm to my mind. I used to play lots of video games especially RPG and MMORPG back then. I played MOBA too, though! Thus, questions came up: What is ENTPs’ most favorite class type in video games? Does our type influence our choices? I started to open the old files in my brain and found some dusty memories of video games that I have played and classes I chose. One thing, as long as I remembered, I’ve never played as priest or any supportive classes. Anyway, here they are!

Ragnarok Online (2003-2005)-Assassin

Character_Assassin.jpg

Stealthy, deadly, undetected and highly agile were the most features that I sought when I played Ragnarok Online in late 2003. For those reasons, I chose to play as thief which was later evolved into rogue then assassin. I think until now, the idea of killing people without being detected and the use of blades and katar are still very interesting to me. Even Assassin’s Creed is still one of my favorite franchise.

Rising Force (2005-2008)-Armor Rider

20070329200635461.jpg

When the game was released, as usual, I looked for any stealthy class with dagger, hidden blades or anything related to assassin. Unfortunately, there was no such things in RF online. The stealthy assassins were replaced by rangers with rifles and I was not interested for the reasons I did not know. Thus, following my next obsession of Gundam, I chose Armor Rider from The Bellato Union. Evolved from Specialist which was similar to Craftsman or Smiths in other RPG, Armor Rider use two types of Massive Armor Units, Goliath the melee gorilla and Catapult the one with canon and heavy machine guns.  I turned from a silent undetected killer into a notorious pilot with his giant robots who kills other races.

Defense of The Ancient (2004-2011)-Moghul Khan (Orc- Berserker)

mogul_khan_axe_dota_2_art_94778_1920x1200.jpg

I do not know how it was started but I turned into savage when I played DoTA several years ago. Instead of Riki or Mortred who are obviously stealthy and agile, my favorite was Axe, a tanker. That was the first time I enjoyed playing video game as a tank. Probably because Axe is a unique tanker with counter helix that deals damages as he gets hit by the enemies. A tank with auto-counter attack. He is untouchable.

The Elder Scroll V-Skyrim (2012-Now)-Stealth Archer

663346-1376566445.jpg

I turn my back into stealthy killing machine again, but now it comes with ranged weapon which makes me more difficult to be detected. Playing as archer in Skyrim is so much fun. You will enjoy killing various kinds of creatures in the universe from bandits to giants from distance. Watching them figuring out where the hell the arrows come from and finally die miserably. Further, you will be able to kill enemy with single shot which is good and bad. It is efficient but you don’t get lots of chances to develop your light armor ability. Overall, archer is lots of fun.

I tried to remember if I ever played as any kind of supportive class such as Cleric, Priest or any kind of healer but I have no memories about being someone who heals and gives lots of buff. Thus, I guess ENTPs are not interested in playing as support. We either stealth, go berserk, or deals an instant kill attack. I thought I have also played as Wizard for short period of time. How about you guys? What’s your class preference in video game?

ENTP: Sometimes the T stands for Troll and the P Stands for Psychopath While the E is probably Evil

Previously, I mentioned ENTP as the grey type of MBTI who cannot put a side to join the dark side or the bright side. They can be good companions to do noble actions such as charity or helping people in any kind of miserable situations but they are also ready to be your partner in crime, literally. As a fellow of mine said that ENTPs are easily shift or nicely said: We are adaptable. Thus, we stand between black and white which is grey. Later on, we can adjust the shade of grey that we need. Just remember one think that ENTPs rarely stand on the side where good guys who believe in justice stay. We are trolls and we like the idea of chaos sometimes. I have collected some data of fictional characters that portray ENTP. Most of them are anti-hero, annoying but witty protagonist, or even completely villain who also do surprising things. Here they are.

2360567

Bugs Bunny!  He is, indeed, the King of Troll in Looney Tunes and he can be described as an ENTP with the shade of cloudy light grey. He has done lots of vicious and crazy stuffs to avoid and fight Elmer Fudd, the hunter, back. He does lots of pranks to outwit Elmer and puts him in trouble. Even if you watch the show closely, Bugs seems enjoy doing the pranks and such stuffs that may have killed Elmer Fudd. Thank God it’s cartoon. However, he does those things to survive. Who wants to be hunted, anyway?

deadpool-reading

Is Deadpool a hero? No he is not. So, does it mean that he is a villain? Well, he is also not. He simply identifies himself as a bad guy, who hunts and kills the worse guys. Obviously, his pervert mind, dirty mouth, rotten avocado face, and his psychopathic desire to slice and shoot his enemies into pieces are out of heroic criteria. He is not everyone’s idol like Steve Rogers (Captain America), but he is also not interested in dominating the galaxy like Thanos. He naturally enjoy chaotic stuffs but he maximize his psychopathic passion to annihilate pathetic guys who try to mess with him or people he cares about. Talking about the shade, Deadpool is grey, just grey. By the way, I am interested in the book he is reading in the picture above.

garfield_the_cat-svg

Garfield is an evidence of how annoying but adorable an ENTP is. Garfield often steals Jon’s meals especially if it is lasagna. No one can stop him to eat lasagna. However, despite his greedy appetite, his owner loves him and claims that Garfield is irreplaceable, not even by Odie. Talking about Odie, his friendship with Garfield is an example of how ENTP can be friend to almost everyone, even though his natural enemy. Well, similar to Bugs, Garfield earns the shade of cloudy light grey.

hades-from-hercules1

Hades, son of Cronus, brother of Zeus and Poseidon, God of the underworld. Well, I should add: ‘The enemy of Hercules’ since the Hades that belongs to ENTP type is the one from Disney. Hades is one of many examples of how narcissistic an ENTP is. He, indeed, loves and admires himself. In many ways, he believes that he is better than his brother, Zeus and see Hercules as not more than filthy half-god creature. More than that, Hades is also witty and opportunist. He knows how to lure his enemy by summoning Megara to seduce our hero, Hercules, so he can easily capture him and neutralize his god-like power, turning Hercules into mortal. However, as always, villains are destined to be failed. After all, Hades is a shadow grey.

talk-like-a-pirate-day-jack-sparrow

‘Why fight when you can negotiate?’ Remember that line from this badass pirate? ENTP confirmed. Well, it does not mean he is never involved in any battle. He is a pirate anyway. He is a pirate and pirate is normally merciless and ruthless bad guy but look at him. He is one badass sociopath who chose the way of pirate. He kills, he steal, and he hijack ships but his negotiable trait proves that he is not standing on the dark side where most bad guys belong to. Jack Sparrow is a smoky grey.

joker-comic-wallpaper-3

Responsible for dr. Harley Quinzel mental disorder and transformation into Harley Quinn, Murdering Jason Todd with crowbar, becoming a diplomat of Iran, letting his face skinned, breaking his own neck, even stealing kid’s report card for fun, Joker is a lunatic. If I would like to describe him as color, he might be charcoal grey. Why not pitch black for he is a crazy psychopathic nemesis of Batman?  It is philosophical, Charcoal is black, but it will turn into slight grey once it is burnt. Joker, however, have said that he will stop doing chaotic crimes if Batman stops fighting crimes. There we go, Batman is the fire that burn Joker as the charcoal.

saul_season_4

Saul Goodman is literally the devil’s advocate. Who is the devil he works for? Indeed, The Great Heisenberg a.k.a. Walter White! Saul is an attorney who helps many felons from assassin to drugs dealer who need legal aid or to cover up their crimes. He is not the bad guy who kills or sell drugs. He does not even use drugs but helping the number one meth chef in USA launder his money and cover all of his crimes by still having the image of flamboyant celebrity lawyer with hilarious TV commercial makes him earn the shade of silver.

im_large_660

‘Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.’ That’s how he described himself when our friend, Captain America questioned who Tony Stark is without the Iron-Suit. Think about how cocky that statement was. However, Stark is the excellent example of how  arrogant ENTP is. His over-generosity is an accurate evidence of his arrogance, his talent in making lots of money and at the same time his inability in managing it. More than that, it also have brought several problems. Stark is generous, too generous that he often has no idea to whom he donates his money to. Sometimes, surprisingly, out of his control, the money goes to the bad guy. He is also hated by many people for his arrogant attitude. However, Tony is still one of the most heroic and badass superheroes. He is the silver guy. Shining on his arrogant heroic role. He saved the world from alien invasion, though!

tyrion

Heavy drinker, unwanted son, betrayed by his sister and his own father, ended up killing his father and set himself free to serve the mother of dragons. Tyrion Lannister, is a real badass and valid proof of this statement: Size does not matter. He even tamed the dragons of Daenerys Targaryen and became her Queen’s Hand to help the Mother of Dragons claiming the Iron Throne to rule seven kingdoms. Tyrion is a true debater and dangerous tactician. He is witty and does not mind to kill people who hurts him and anyone he cares about. Similar to Deadpool, he is not the nemesis of the series but he is also not the guy people easily like because of his heroic actions. Tyrion is pure grey.

In conclusion, all of the characters above are naturally sarcastic, witty, and uneasy to be liked. People mostly like the heroic characters while most ENTPs are not quite. Anyway, do you see your favorite fictional character(s) from my list?

Posted in Characters, Confession, Contemplation, ENTP, ENTP Relationship, ENTP's Thought, MBTI, Personality, Random Thoughts, Uncategorized

Neither Black nor White

What is your color? I do not ask your favorite color because it is cliche. I am talking about color that describes you, your personalities, your view about the world and what’s inside you. So, please think about it. Once more, not your personal subjective favorite color but a color that defines your personality and characters. I will start on behalf of my kind, ENTP.

Before I mention the color of my types, Let’s take a quick look to some traits that ENTP has based on my observation to myself, some fictional characters, some friends and some aliens out there.

  1. ENTPs hate to be controlled strictly. (Similar to ENFP)
  2. ENTPs do not like organized schedule.
  3. ENTPs have so many things that they are interested in but only a few that they can handle.
  4. ENTPs sometimes cannot finish what they have started.
  5. ENTPs are generally fast learners. (Similar to other thinker types)
  6. ENTPs are lazy as hell.
  7. ENTPs are easy to get along with. (Similar to any extrovert types especially ENFP and ESFJ)
  8. ENTPs are excellent conversationalist. (Similar to ESFJ)
  9. ENTPs are passionate and has thousands ideas about many things. (Similar to ESTP and ENFP)
  10. ENTPs are extremely sarcastic. (Highly similar to INTJ)
  11. ENTPs value friendships more than their relationships.
  12. ENTPs enjoy debate and hate losing an argument. (Similar to INTJ)
  13. ENTPs do not mind doing what common people assume as bad stuffs for the sake of better future. (Similar to INTJ)
  14. Honestly, ENTPs do not mind teasing or doing prank for fun. (Remember Joker?)
  15. ENTPs are generally not sensitive. Tend to be heartless in some cases. (Similar to INTJ).
  16. ENTPs often become emotional over ridiculous things. (Similar to ENFP)
  17. ENTPs secretly like cute animals. (Similar to any types with feeling as their dominant trait)
  18. ENTPs like to help others if they find it interesting no matter it breaks the moral value or not. (Take a look at Deadpool kick the pizza-guy’s ass in the movie to help the girl. More example: Saul Goodman from breaking bad, Tyrion Lannister from Game of Throne)
  19. ENTPs tend to idolize both heroes and villains because they agree to both side. (Look at Deadpool fan-boying Spider-man but at the same time working together with Magneto in some occasions)
  20. ENTPs find it difficult to put a side between good or bad.

Alright that is a long list up there. I could have added some more but I will save it for later. So based on the list, I will draw a quite long conclusion. ENTPs, as it has been discussed many times, are lazy but learn quickly. They have lots of ideas but cannot be consistent in finishing what they have started. They want a better world but they do not mind destroying the present world if it has to be so (some INTJs are laughing). All in all, I can say that ENTPs are grey. They are neither black nor white, neither hero nor villain. We stand on the middle between good and bad. So, when ENFPs or other feeler types feel insecure about their actions of hurting people or being too kind to people, ENTPs can only say: ‘Well, you know, you can hire me for both charity or deadly pranks. Chill.’ More than it, should any INTJ tells us his or her world domination plan we would be happy to listen and join as mercenaries. Cheers.

Triggering ENTP 101

d447036dc11306ae09146294b8862393.jpg

The stereotype said that ENTPs are insensitive and emotionless. Well, we are, but we are not in some cases. Our emotion works in slightly different way that some people find it difficult to relate. For instance, we would be very sentimental on something that other people with different MBTI do not understand where in the hell the emotional part is. We will not find a racist joke offensive though it is intended to insult us but we will be very sarcastic towards unnecessary comments in Facebook. Anyway, here are several things that might trigger the emotion of ENTPs that I have put on a list. Feel free to think that I am emotionally retarded.

Death of Fictional Characters

Maybe you will think it is normal to cry over a death of fictional character but for ENTPs, no matter how many time we have seen the scene or read the part where the character died, the feeling will remain the same as that is the first time we watch or read it. Even worse, it sometimes make us too emotional that will influence us to say or do something that people do not expect to come out from ENTPs. I was re-watching an episode in One Piece when suddenly remembered that episode was the one which one of my favorite character died. That was my second time seeing it. After watching, I called my brother making sure he was alive. Thank God he is alive until now. That was long ago, recently I cried over the death of my original character which appears on the short story I post recently. My friend was like: ‘if you can’t handle killing him, so why did you kill him?’

Losing an Argument

We are natural debater. Thus, we won’t accept our lost in an argument. ENTPs are full of ‘but’ when it comes to debate. Debating and arguing are fun for us but when we lost, weird emotion and reaction will happen. I personally will feel upset and disappointed to myself and put respect to the person who comes with better argument. Often the people who beat me become my close friend or we keep in touch to argue more. Mostly I lost to other ENTP or…. ENFP. Damn you Charles Xavier.

Virus, Malware and Blue-Screen of Death

This is personal thought of mine. I am not sure if other ENTPs out there feel the same about this but I love my computers more than I want to have girlfriend. Yes I am single as hell but it won’t trigger me if you mock my relationship status because ENTPs normally do not care about such thing. You are an ENTP and you worry about being single? Better re-take the test, mate. Probably you are a feeler. LOL! Okay back to the three horrible things that might be serious threats to my babies (computers). Those stuffs will make me so angry and cranky for days until I am able to get rid of them. I did not sleep for three days straight, ate biscuits for breakfast and dinner, was so cranky all day and could not focus during the lesson because I thought about hundreds possibilities to ‘heal’ my PC from a goddamn malware that infected the system. Thank God it was successful. I hugged my PC after that. Have I been so attentive and caring to my exes? Ain’t nobody get time for that. My point here is that sometimes ENTPs level of affection is unpredictable. We sometimes love inanimate objects more than we love people. Other ENTPs might be triggered if his cactus die, someone eat his or her last doughnut, or even when she does not get the food she craves the whole day. Surprisingly, some of us are immune to spoiler. Spoil us a movie that we haven’t watch and we will happily request you to tell us the ending.

Witty is Pretty

I understand that physical beauty is the initial attraction before we know what’s inside. Thus, some people, especially those feelers, may strongly believe on the concept of ‘love at the first sight’. For ENTPs, men in this case, that is bullshit. We are attracted to beautiful hot chicks, obviously. However, it does not mean we would like to date every pretty girl that we meet. For us, or me personally, what’s inside is the most important and physical is number two. I would rather talk about aliens, galaxies and possibilities of parallel multiverse all day long than staring at beautiful face of my girlfriend for three hours straight. Thus, pretty or handsome or whatever it’s named according to ENTPs like us is when someone is able to share his or her wild thoughtful intellectual exploration in daily basis to us.

Well, those are some ‘triggers’ to our emotionless emotion. Who said ENTP has no feeling? We are just feeler in different way. Now you know how to make us angry, sad, or even broken.

The Danger Room

Danger_Room_01.jpg

Are you familiar with that empty room? If you have ever watched a movie that tells you about abnormal beings living together in a massive mansion where there are school and jet inside along with bald professor on a wheel chair, then you have ever happened to see that picture. If it is still not really clear for you, here is another hint.

X-Men_Danger_Room.png

Now most of you might have recognized what Danger Room is, haven’t you? It is a huge simulation room where the mutants in X-Men practice to develop their abilities as mutants in the real battle situation. Usually there will be some senior mutants guide the younger ones during the training as you can see in the picture, there are Mystique and Beast with the young X-Men (Left to Right : Nighcrawler, Storm, Cyclops, Phoenix and Quick-Silver). The Danger Room is designed to have such super realistic sensation during the practice that you can feel the fear of dying and getting chased by The Sentinels. Now maybe I exaggerate it, but these two weeks, I think some of my professors are pushing us to the limit and I personally feels like they put us in Danger Room situation.

Never ending assignments of designing new techniques and developing some methods, daily presentations, reviews and so forth are coming endlessly. At first, it was totally normal to have one or two reports and presentations. Then I thought it would soon decreased, but once two papers’s done, there came other three out of somewhere! I am so triggered that I write another shitty twisted thought about this Danger Room analogy. Seriously, now, every time I enter the classroom, I imagine my professor as a gifted being who can read and control others’ mind and my friends and I as a noob young mutants seeking for clarity and wisdom in a room where your worst enemy will soon be summoned by the prof. The young mutants end up in a relentless regime of training that is painful yet effective. However, IT IS painful and it is not easy to satisfy the professor with our struggle.

I don’t know if either Charles Xavier, Hank McCoy or Raven Darkholme has a very high expectation that one of them find it difficult to appreciate the hard works of their disciples. Though my professors, some of them require us to think out of the skull to make them smile. Indeed, it is stressful. That’s one downs. However, I can say that with such force to accomplish many things at once, I unconsciously develop. Painfully develop.

Thus, like those young mutants in X-Men who frequently experience dying and extreme fear during simulation practice, I won’t stop though I suffer serious lack of sleep and worrying hair loss. In the end, these all will over and I will utilize what I have learnt during the Danger Room situation to make a better life for everyone. By the way, no offense, dear professor.

You Can Hire Them For Zombie Apocalypse

A friend once asked how in the world could I have my list of favorite MARVEL characters suitable to my MBTI? How could I idolize (mostly) characters with ENTP traits? I have no exact answer for this. Probably because those ENTPs share the same views as mine. However, it does not mean I ONLY like ENTPs when it comes to fictional characters. Though Wade Wilson, Tony Stark and Rocket Raccoon are my heroes, I also adore some others with various MBTI types. Here are the chosen five of non-ENTP fellows from MARVEL Universe alongside with their MBTI and my personal opinion about them.

  • Frank Castle (The Punisher) – INTJ

punisher-in-marvel-comics2

Frank was an ex-marine who got his entire family murdered in front of his face. More than it, he got a head-shot that, unfortunately, did not kill him. Since then, Frank turned into psychopathic badass who demanded revenge. I am not sure about his previous life when he was a loving husband and father, but The Punisher is an INTJ. Low tolerance, lack of emotion, hates inefficiency are several features of INTJ that you can see from this badass man-hunter. An INTJ is also original and pragmatic. You will see how Frank does not let emotional feelings interrupt his decision in doing his job terminating the targets. The only distractions for him are Dare Devil and NYPD. I am with Frank. You may kill the one who kill your loved ones, though. ‘Don’t get in my way, Red!

  • Charles Xavier (Prof. X) – ENFP

charles_xavier_earth-616

I shit you not, Charles is my favorite mutant after Wade. I mean, who does not want to control Cerebro and knows what common people do not know? If he was not shot on the spine and could use both of his leg normally, I could imagine how badass would he be. Anyway, Charles is passionate, optimistic and surprisingly care about others. At the first time he might look like an ordinary bald professor who is busy with his own experiment, but look at how he cares about the young mutants? X-Mansion is a proof of his caring, optimistic and passionate personality, giving hope to the minority to have better future. Alright, talking about Charles makes me sound old. Go on.

  • Peter Parker (Spider-Man) – INFP

tumblr_nryugmbxug1sbbfwho3_1280

Most kids’ wildest dream is getting bitten by radio-active spider and becoming Spidey. I was one of those moron kids. Thus, Pete-Parker was my childhood hero. As a kid, seeing a heroic older-but-not-too-older guy will make me day-dreaming of having a big brother. To every kid out there, imagine if Spider-man take you to school and all of your friends will drop their jaws. THAT WAS! MY DREAM! Dedicated, idealist, loyal, intensively struggle to make world as a better place are some traits of INFP in Spidey. At least before Venom turned him into somehow worse but better at the same time. Hey, maybe black-suit Spider-man is an ENTP.

  • Peter Quill (Star Lord) – ESFP

starlord

Another Peter. I envy Star Lord for he is having fun out of every task and difficult situation he encounters. He is also an excellent team-worker while I prefer to do most of the things solo. ESFP is creative and an out of the box thinker. This is why they always find fun ways to face everything even the worst situation. In some cases, especially the part of Guardian of the Galaxy movie, ESFP is an excellent peacemaker and this makes Star Lord a great leader.

  • Katherine Anne ‘Kitty’ Pryde – INFP

47_kittypryde

My mutant crush, indeed. Shared the same MBTI as Spidey, Kitty is an inter-dimensional mutant who can travel through not only concrete objects like wall but also time. Even though Kitty is not an excellent combatant, She plays important role in X-Men: Days of Future Past, though. I have described how heroic an INFP is. INFPs are usually idealist justice keeper who prefer to put douche-bags and bandits to jail rather than killing them on sight. Their kind-hearted personality suits ENTP well.

Now I am thinking of them teaming up together with Wade, Stark, and Raccoon. Though, I prefer Spidey with his symbiote suit. What’s the team name gonna be? You decide!

Forget and Figure Out

brain

Recently I re-watched Memento. A movie where Leonard, the protagonist, suffered short-term memory loss that made him unable to create new memory. Everything happened to him will soon to be disappear from his memory. This condition forced him to take notes every time he encountered something or met someone. However, at the end of the movie, there was a scene where Leonard burned one of the pictures that he took as an evidence of his accomplishment in avenging his wife, making him forgot that the person he hunted has been perished by himself. As the memory has lost and there was no evidence that the revenge has been paid off, he kept looking for the person who has killed his wife. A person that was no longer exist.

Memento is not the only movie that involves psychological thrills, especially the memory loss aspect, to force the viewers to think. Another one that is a little bit under-ratted is The Number 23. Some reviews describe the movie as clumsy, unengaging and confusing. However, that confusing part, triggered me.Walter Sparrow, the protagonist in  the movie came up with similar problem to Leonard: memory loss. The difference was Sparrow’s was unable to memorize what happened in his past but had no problem with the present time and making new memories. Despite the difference, both problems were similar: they forgot, completely. After watching, there was something hitting my thought while I brewed my coffee: What have we forgotten since we were born?

This thought of mine probably has no direct connection to the plot of both movies that I have taken as examples previously. However, the point here is the ‘forget’ part that suddenly triggered my curiosity after watching Memento for the second time.

Some people believe in after life as a period when we, human-beings, were born once, live for several years and no longer dwell in this world after the death comes and inhabit the other dimension where spirits, angels and demons live in. Shortly, we live once in this world, and move to another dimension after our death. The others, however, assume that there are previous life and next life in the same world that we live in now. The endless cycle that people know as reincarnation. Both, obviously, include the birth phase, either once or many times. The thing is, what if we have known everything before the parturition? Or for they who believe in reincarnation, what if they have known everything from their previous life but they just do not realize that they follow their intuition in the present cycle? What if we just forgot? What if we used to know when we will die, when we will get married, who our partner is, and so on? And what if the memories are actually hidden inside us but we do not know how to access it? Would you like to know when will you die and what happened before this lifetime?

Imagine someone hid a folder consist of an embarrassing secret of you that you have no longer remembered in your PC and he did not say anything about it. One day, you accidentally found that folder and slowly remembered everything. Now imagine the same thing in your memory but without PC. Imagine that you accidentally reveal your death in the future, probably via dreams, or just a convincing sudden thought. You slowly realize that it has been there ever since but you just did not realize it. It was a strange box that you have ignored since you were born and suddenly you opened it out of nowhere and found a surprising yet disturbing facts about yourself.

Now the question is what would you do next? Will you immediately confess and amend your mistakes in the past? Will you continue ignoring the revealed truth? Or will you cry in the corner of your room regretting what have happened so far in your life? I personally would probably be freaked out IF such situation happened to me. I would rather do not remember and try to do good things day by day. Keeping it as a mystery is the art of enjoying life. Well that’s my personal opinion though. After all, ENTP likes to talk bullshits. How about you? What if you remembered?

What’s in (My) ENTP Head

tumblr_nwf8ttofEW1t1otoho1_1280.jpg

So I found this interesting picture in the internet recently. It was originally posted by someone in reddit but reddit is blocked in my country, so technically I took it from google. Thanks for anyone who post this illustration of what’s inside the brain of ENTP. Thus, I will try to elaborate how accurate is the illustration to my own mind because, I am an ENTP anyway!

Normally, people start from the biggest part, the most dominant. Per contra, I will start from that small red part at the bottom.

Grumpy Thoughts About Everything

Grumpy sounds bad but sadly it is true, at least for me. ENTPs, including me, sometimes see the world as a miserable place. After all, it is called as ‘grumpy thoughts’, so I do not always utter it. Instead, I often just grumble inside my mind, and stay calmly cool outside. There are some grumpy thoughts which commonly hit my mind in several situations.

  1. Durian smells bad. Moreover it is more suitable to be used as a melee weapon. Just look at those spikes!
  2. Some females in my country need driving lessons. They turn on the left turning signals and start taking over from the right side of the road.
  3. What’s the point of sticking family stickers with everyone’s name on the rear part of car? You love your family? No.. you try to attract kidnappers.
  4. Kids fashion show is a total exploitation. They ain’t doll.
  5. Smokers who smoke in public places should swallow the whole smoke ..And the cigar butt as well.

The list won’t over if I continue. Anyhow, we are NOT carried by grumpy  thoughts all the time. It only hits our mind when we have a bad mood or something goes really bad.

Just Smile and Say Yes so They Do not Realize You are not Listening

That green part explains how ENTPs think about other people’s feeling. It is difficult for me to focus and it is so easy to distract me. Thus, when I smile and say yes while I have no idea about what people are talking about, I never mean it. I am just simply get distracted by something else. Another possibility is an introvert thinker problem: I am busy with my own thoughts. However, no worries! I will listen more carefully once it comes to something serious.

Narcissistic Thoughts

I disagree with this one. This part, for me, does not work as it should be. My thought about myself is more likely sarcastic and grumpy (I know that red small at the bottom should be bigger) than narcissistic. When someone throw me a cheesy compliment saying how cool I am that day or I look fresher or blah blah blah, my response are usually snappy yet funny.

  1. I know right? I am cool! Sometimes I think Sub-Zero is my ancestor. Ha-ha.
  2. Yeah, finally I am no longer zombie. Fresh and lively!

At least, they usually laugh.

Self-Critical Thought

Critical thinking is ENTPs special trait. I couldn’t agree more with this. Moreover, thinking critically about myself is something that I do almost all the time. Thinking about my weaknesses, things that I have done, things that I haven’t done, my purposes, my dreams, things that I have to improve, my existence and the one that I hate, my death. I think everywhere and anytime randomly. Toilet, during a movie, in the middle of teaching, on my way to somewhere, under a tree and when eating are several self-critical thinking sessions that I have almost everyday.

What  If…

This one is my favorite. Besides thinking about self-improvement and contemplating existence, impossible thoughts and phantasies are what I imagine all the time. There will be endless list so I will choose some most intriguing thoughts of mine.

  1. According to the holy books and history books, people in the past live longer than now. What if they actually didn’t live any longer than us? Their hundreds year old age was caused by shorter period of time, which means our Earth rotated and revolved around the Sun faster in the past. What if we get slower?
  2. Still related to thought number one, If it gets slower by the time, will our Earth stop rotating and revolving later? What if it is not only happening to Earth but the whole galaxy?
  3. In the past, touch screen was part of science fiction. What if what we categorize as science fiction now is going to be scientific in the distant future?
  4. Talking about sci-fi, what if someone has built time machine in the future but he/she failed on his/her first attempt when traveling to the past and trapped there till the end of his/her life?
  5. Our age is relative based on what calendar do we use. I might be younger, or older than I should be.

Puns and Jokes

  • Can eel and eagle hang out? No because It’s eel-eagle!
  • I think vampire won’t ever hunt Taylor Swift, because she has bad blood.

I can relate this. Puns and jokes are something that randomly and sometimes unconsciously come out of nowhere. However, it does not always work. Sometimes I am not sure if my joke is cheesy or people do not really get it or the situation is not right. In spite of the possibility of failing, ENTPs are natural random pun machine. Wait, is that why I adore Deadpool so much?

Credible Bullshits and Real Arguments

Why do I combined them? When an ENTP is involved in a debate, which he obviously enjoy,  he will mix his real arguments with bunch of reliable hogwash. ENTPs are resourceful and witty. Their Introverted thinking allows them to develop and improve information  that they have into multiple arguments and … bullshits. Reliable one, though. Therefore, debating and being involved in an argument are several things that an ENTP enjoys the most. Sometimes, those rascals trigger the argument or the worse one: they debate themselves with credible bullshits and real arguments.

Imaginary and Fictional Problems VS Real Problems

I couldn’t agree more. I sometimes worry more fictional problems like robot apocalypse and alien abductions rather than my real problems in my REAL life.Angry boss? Annoying colleague? Grumpy crush? Broken stuffs? Sure those will ruin my day but I will quickly move on and find solutions for each. On the other hand, thinking about serial killers, mutated animals, super genius hackers who will creep into my systems and other phantasies will freak me out more. I think this imaginary fictional problems part is highly related with the ‘What If…’ part. They form strong relationship and occupy my brain with random intriguing thoughts about something that actually do not exist, distracting me to slowly forget my real problems. My brain betrays me!

Anyway, it also brings some benefits to me. My thoughts is full of fictional scenarios complete with the characters. I am going to write a story soon enough. Maybe in another blog.

Alcohol and Coffee

Well I do not drink alcohol but coffee.. Nothing is better than black coffee with no sugar in the morning, especially the local one. Starbucks favorite? Pitch black Americano, sometimes the iced one.

Interesting Ideas and Projects (Later)

As I have told you previously, ENTPs are resourceful. We often pop up with incredible ideas and plans about projects but we often too lazy to start and end up procrastinating. In my case, it is more disturbing. I have the idea but I am lazy to start then several hours later, I will worry about having not enough time to finish everything while I am still too lazy to start. Just like the one that I have mentioned above, the story. I said that I will start soon enough but here, I will spell it to you: I DON’T KNOW WHEN TO START.

Well, enough confessing for now. Please share if you experience the same. Catch you later!
